The BIC 2009 committee seeks oral presentations, poster and workshops sessions covering topics in all areas of enzyme/protein production, new biomaterial production and pharmaceutical production, including but not restricted to :
A. Biotechnology of Industrial and Applications
Protein Production
Biocatalysts
Biofuel
Biodegradable plastic
Environmental bioremediation
B. Biotechnology of Human Health
Biotechnology strives to enhance our quality of life through improved pharmaceuticals, disease diagnostics, vaccines, therapies and treatment, nutrition and environmental quality.
The topics concerning pharmaceuticals and disease diagnostics will be priority to be accepted
C. Biotechnology of Agricultural Productions
Crop Biotechnology: Include production improvement, impact on developing countries
Forest Biotechnology and Animal Biotechnology
D. Ethics, Policy and Social on Biotechnology
The role of government in using biotechnology as a tool to improve the quality of society life
Ethical issues & Legislations
All Technologies, tools and their application such as recombinant DNA technology, cell culture, cloning, research applications, genomic, proteomic and bioinformatics which supported those 4 main topics will be invited.
Paper Submissions
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts and full papers in English. All submissions will be peer-reviewed based on originality, technical quality and presentation. For extended abstract, please submit one page by electronic mail.
